We run a candidate centred, fair and transparent recruitment process. Our roles are advertised on this site and may also appear on job boards.

Please apply from our advertisement links on our Recruitment Opportunities page and submit your CV and cover letter You are also welcome to call our recruiter or email questions to recruitment@sfo.govt.nz before you apply and throughout the recruitment process. 

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged. If you are unsuccessful, we will let you know as quickly as possible. If your application is of interest to us, we will contact you to talk you through the next steps. If we progress your application, the process includes completing a work sample exercise, attending an interview either in person or via MS Teams, and attending a second interview. If you are our preferred candidate, we will make you a provisional offer of employment, subject to references and background checks to our satisfaction.
